Book boxes are a classic way to store small treasures, and altering one is a great way to upcycle and add your personal touch to these boxes. We will alter one book box applying many layering techniques and textures with minimal colours but a variety of mediums and then bring the focus on the heart using shimmering metallique paints and waxes!

Rusted Door Tag Class

Project Name : Rusted Door Tag     [2.5"x 7"] 

In this class we would create a rusted door tag using the very versatile rust pastes and metalliques.  It is so easy to create a unique steampunk, grunge or masculine project with the Rust Paste Set from the Art Extravagance Collection by Finnabair for Prima. This paste is an opaque, thick paste with a matte, rust-like finish. This paste is fantastic for giving your projects a rusty texture and adding dimension and I think only sky is the limit to the countless possibilities of combining these goodness or using them as a stand-alone ingredient to your aged artworks!

"This Art Journal class is a fun play with Dylusions Paints to create colourful backgrounds. We will colour-in the incredibly quirky Dylusions Creative Diary Dy-Cuts and add them to our page. And to top it all off, we'll be making our own washi tape using Dylusions Journal Tape."
