All levels of mixed media crafters are welcome but seats are limited so you must be quick to book your seat.

Jennifer' s Quirky Characters

Use a water brush to add colour

Jennifer Pulton is a local artist to Drysdale. A contempary artist that  works with acrylic paints to produce abstract paintings, some would call them quirky! She also produces sculptures out of recycled wood, metal, limestone & copper & recently had an exhibition at the Hub in East Geelong.

Jennifer will guide you through the steps necessary to create these quirky drawings & how to add colour to make your own creations.

This class plays with paint and water colouring techniques using some fun new releases from Art By Marlene.

And just when you thought you have done everything you can with an old credit card, there is more!

Although the focal images are bold and bright, there are hidden bits and pieces in this page. Including the words to the song Under the Sea.

There are many levels to this page which makes it ideal to take it further if you wish. After all, that's what Art Journal pages are for aren't they?

 "Just Imagine"  creating this beautiful Art Journal page. In this class you will explore the combination of paint, stencils and  the beautiful Stamperia rice papers.
It is a fun arty page which you can make as personal as you like, or one that you can just keep simple.
It is aimed at an intermediate level, but it can easily be extended and Dot will show you how.
The techniques introduced can be applied across a wide range of projects.

We hope that you are all having a crafty time 

as the weather starts to cool down a little.

We are often asked here at Create On Ormond

about how we can use Distress Crayons on our projects.

What can they can do?

Is there a certain way to use them?

Are they fun?

They are heaps of fun!!!

Dot Leathbridge will be teaching an Art Journal class using Distress Crayons

on Friday the 24th

and Saturday the 25th of May.

In this class you will discover that there is a wide range of techniques

 involved with Distress Crayons.

Much more than you realise.

The Bokeh effect with Distress Crayons is used as a backdrop to some hand-drawn funky houses.

Space is limited, so booking in is essential

 to ensure that you don't miss out.
