New Paper Ranges

Some great new paper ranges have come into the shop recently and there is something for everyone. The new Bo Bunny Serenity range is an oriental range with beautiful reds, blacks and teals. Naturally it would suit your travel pages to the orient however the flip side of the range is just as beautiful and can be used with any of your regular photos.....I gave Deb some of the collection to work with on the weekend and what an amazing page she has created and in such a short time....thanks Deb you must have been inspired....to see more of Debs work go onto her blog.......debzscrapping.blogspot.com.au

Basic Grey 's Kissing Booth

PRIMA are always on top of the game and the Paris trend is continuing with their En Francais range...very french in colour and designs.

and finally Prima's Nature Garden Collection  is lovely and fresh, it uses soft shades of greens and blues and the odd fairy here & there makes it a real enchanting range.

Looking for something to do these school holidays? Create On Ormond is running classes during the holidays to cater for children 7 years and above -  if you would like to participate in any of these classes then you will need to book early.....52221449.
The classses are for 11/2 hours and cost      $15.00 to $17.00 inclusive....

In this class you will complete a dble page layout using papers, and embellishments from Kaisercrafts latest range Fine & Sunny. This would be perfect for Easter photos.......

Photos: You will need to bring 1 4x6 portrait, 1 6 x 4 landscape, 4 x 4x4, 1extra photo. Photos can be added later.

Owl Canvas

Decorate your own canvas with papers and cutouts.....

Dress Screens

Mixed Media Canvas Class

If you have wanted to try your hand at Mixed Media this class is for you. We will be working with texture paste, gesso, paint, ink, rub n buff, mists and more. Call the shop on 5222 1449 to secure your spot.

Technique Tuesday - Sandwiches

Our daytime Techniques Tuesday 13 March workshop (evening 20 March) is about preparing diecutting combinations of dies and plates - add paper and it is a sandwich. There will be lots of information, tips and design ideas.

For this workshop it is important you bring your Cuttlebug, BigShot or BigKick, all plates and at least one of each type of die you own. And bring any questions about achieving successful  diecutting and embossing.  For this it is important that you bring along the paper or the die that you have a problem with.  Lets see what we can solve.

Whats Happening In Store

We have had the GORGEOUS new lines from Graphics 45 arrive.... and they have been rushing out the door.  Here's a peak....

We have also had some lovely papers and chippy come in from Collections Elements........

We also have in some new border punches from Martha Stewart.  Who doesn't love these.

CLASSES
Shelley has been BUSY BUSY BUSY working on upcoming classes.  The first is the Inchies class..... which is an ongoing class that focuses on tiny works of art.  These can be used individually or mounted all together to create a stunning piece for the wall.  the papers we are using for this class is Olde Curiosity Shoppe by Graphics 45. You will also get to embellish your inchies with lots of groovy little treasures and trinkets. This class is beginning on Thursday 15th March at 10.30.  Call the store now to secure your spot on 5222 1449.  Places are limited and this range is going to be popular.

The next class is Mixed Media.  In this class you will be using paints, mists, inks, papers, stencils, textures and the like to create an original work to display proudly in your home.   Anything goes with mixed media, so if you're wondering what its all about come along to find out.  The class is being held on Saturday 10th March.

CHALLENGE PACKS
Don't forget to return your February Challenge packs by the end of the month to be in the running.  The new packs for March are in-store now and ready for you to get started.  Packs are $5 each. 

We are very excited to see what the kids have been creating too.  So be sure to drop in your layouts kids.

Hero Arts latest 2012 release is now in store. I really love the newsprint style as you will tell by the kind of stamps I have purchased for the shop.... They have also brought out a  Paris range which is so Tres Chic and really suits the mixed media style artwork.  Hero Arts has also teamed up with Sizzix so if you own a cuttlebug, big shot or another die cutting machine then the latest stamp and cut dies will eliminate a lot of fussing cutting time.
