Wobble Springs

You can make your cards wobble this Christmas with these versatile wobble springs. They have tape on both sides so all you have to do is adhere one side onto your card and the other side to an embellishment such as this Christmas Bell...you could also make some cute birthday cards with the birthday number doing the wobble thing on the front...

Book Cards

My Diary card by Kerry Durston
Can you believe this card started out as a plain piece of  white cardstock? Create On Ormond has  some new ranges of blank cards and envelopes in store to help you create some quick and easy cards and this is one of them.

We have some classic  3 fold cards with an oval cut out so you can highlight your needlepoint or similar, we have  Christmas tree and Christmas bell cut outs and we have some white book cards like the one Kerry used in this photo.
I gave one of these cards to Kerry Durston our technique and card teacher  to play with and this is what she came up with...an old fashioned diary....to see how Kerry created this book click on her link...http://artificeink.blogspot.com.au

Mixed Media Class

Hello everyone it's been a while since our last blog and the reason being that  we have been very busy creating and organising wonderful and varied papercraft  classes for you to do.
Scrapbooking and craft in general has a funny way of bringing people together. Last week I met Ruth, a wonderful lady from Adelaide (my home town) and after chatting for a while we discovered we went to the same school at the same time, she was even in my brothers year!  Ruth started scrapping 13 years ago and had her own shop in Adelaide for 3 years. Due to health reasons she had to give the shop up and so continued her addiction to scrapbooking from home where she continues to teach. Ruth describes her style as Shabby Chic/vintage as she  favours everything old worldly and is drawn to colours tones and textures of this look and her other love is dimension.....
Many of you have commented on our Mixed Media Canvas in the shop and would love to learn how this technique is accomplished, so I have been trying to find someone to help you out and guess what Ruth can do!!!
Yes Ruth has created a canvas titled "A stroll in the park" and it is a fantastic introduction to using Mixed Media to create a scene. Ruth is only in Geelong for a short time so please try and get along to either class and learn from a lady with a wealth of experience and a lovely personality to boot.
