A few weeks ago, I suggested to Debbie J who is a traditional scrapper, that she teach a class next year centred on the latest scrapbooking craze........ Project Life........ using all the fabulous products from We R Memory Keepers. She hesitantly grabbed some pocket pages, journaling cards and papers and headed home. Today she brought in her finished pages and with a grin from ear to ear said how she was addicted and would like to start up a monthly club where people can get together in an environment where they enjoy each other’s company, enjoy a coffee (of course) and get their  memories recorded each month.  Debbie explained how she had these Queensland photos for years sitting in a drawer  because she could never work out just how she was going to scrap them and now they are in an album finished!
Debbie is so excited about helping you complete your albums quickly and easily just like she did!

 Our club is called CREATIVElife....we will meet once a month on the first Friday or the second Saturday of the month. You will receive a new packet of journaling cards, embellishments and monthly specials on the We R Memory Keepers ranges exclusive to you. This club will help you document your own or your family’s story by sharing the beauty and simplicity of this wonderful system.

All you need to start with is a BIG pile of photos and we will help with the rest....

Classes start Friday 7th or Saturday 15th February, they will go for 2 hours and will cost $30.00....that's it!

Create On Ormond is pleased to announce 2 brand new scrapbooking classes to be held in early 2014....and the return of the very talented Debbie Johnston to teach you.
Our first class is centred around the popular "Project Life"concept which is taking the scrapbooking world by storm....the easy to use plastic pockets and memory files, co ordinating stickers and journaling cards make these albums much simpler and quicker than the traditional pages....
Our second class is a smaller version of "Project Life"and it blends all the latest ideas for 8x8  binder albums. Brands such as SMASH and SNAP have both captured this market and their product range and quality is fantastic. In this class you will decorate the cover of a SNAP binder album and complete as many pages as possible within the time frame.....
So make sure in these holidays you print your favourite holiday and family photos from the computer and book into our Album in a SNAP class or our 12 x 12 "Project Life" album introduction class.....keep checking the blog for details......

Feather Die Class

Kristina is using her new favourite  MFT die this week, the feather die!. A very versatile die and also very popular on the craft scene right now. In this class you will make 3 different cards and learn 3 different card making techniques using a die...remember these techniques can be used with any of your other dies as well.

New Christmas Rosette Class

Come and join us on Wednesday 20th November to create this wonderful centre piece for your table. It is made completely out of paper and although this is a Christmas inspired tree you could use any colour to suit many other occasions. All welcome.

WOW, this is a truly unique class....it has been created by Shelley, Create On Ormond's talented and versatile creative manager who was inspired by the Twiddleybitz design team and now you have the opportunity to create your own.  Your finished 3D shadow box is 12 x 12 inches and is so light that it can hang on your wall with ease.. You will learn how to create a dimensional brick wall, that would put a bricky to shame...build your wheelbarrow and bird house and fill it with a mixture of  bright roses and flowers from the garden.... the quote on the bottom of the shed is "Where flowers bloom so does Hope"and I bet you know someone that would just love it...

Included in your class price is your lesson, all products and mediums to complete this project and it even has the  miniature pots seeds to put on your garden shelf......great value!  We have 2 time slots for you to consider, Thursday morning and Saturday morning....we will require a minimum of 5 people to run the classes.....

Mother Goose 3D Layout

 Hello Everyone, I would like to share with you this lovely 3D layout that  Debbie Jonhston has created using the latest Graphic 45 paper Collection "Mother Goose" 
It is little hard to see with this picture  but all the pictures have been fussy cut and layered, the border has also been layered to create a shadow box effect. She has created this 3D effect by putting the background paper onto  cor flute, this gives it the strength and is also very light .....




Another interesting effect is the use of texture paste and a brick stencil to create  wall....

Here Deb has used a birds nest to sit  on the branch 
that is holding up the baby's crib. 

This is a lovely piece Deb and would compliment any nursery.....you could add a photo into the background if you wanted to...

Shaz our Graphic 45 specialist has a new project for us to create using the new line from Graphic 45 "Twelve Days Of Christmas.  This mini album measures approx 5" x 7" and has 8 pages including covers  - it has interactive flip pages,  pocket pages, a beautiful binding for the spine and so much more.  

You kit includes pre-cut pages and pockets for easy assembly, bling, seam binding, chipboard die-cuts , flower die-cuts, binder covers and pages, sticker sheet, 6 x 6 paper pad and 12 x 12 papers....

School holiday time is when Create On Ormond buzzes with excitement and creativity. Each holiday period we offer a dynamic program of art and craft workshops to inspire kids from 7 – 15 years of age.

 Choose the workshops that take your fancy and create masterpieces such as stunning picture frames, fabulous canvas collages, mini albums and home decor craft ideas.

 All our workshops are facilitated by confident and talented artists who are dedicated to ensuring your child has an enjoyable and satisfying creative experience.

 Each program we offer new and creative ideas and every artist takes home a stylish creation to be proud of!

Sessions times are for 2 hours and include all materials....

3.  Paper Doll Bunting

    These paper dolls are fantastic fun...you will create your own paper doll design, select your dress, shoes and clothing to match and then place her on her chipboard bunting background ready to hang in your favourite place!

4.  Love You Frame

In this class you will decorate your frame background using lots of mixed media techniques and then learn how to create and dress your own doll from our Prima doll stamps. This class has been designed in two styles the other being the Blast Off design featuring rockets!

5.    Christmas Album

     It is never too early to write Santa your Christmas wish list...and in this class you will put together a Christmas Mini flip album complete with Santa Wish list.....Photos can be added later...

Holiday Terms  and Conditions:

1.      Bookings essential, a  $10.00 deposit is required upon booking

2.      Classes include all art materials,

3.      Maximum 10 children per class...minimum 3 children

4.      Group bookings of 5 or more are possible please call to discuss.

5.      Pay by: Credit card, cash.

6.      Cancellations within 24 hours of a workshop will forfeit the $10.00 deposit as we have        invested in product and a teacher.

7.      Please  dress  your child in appropriate clothing as they may get messy
