Mays mixed media art class features pan pastels and paint. Kaz will be teaching how to create an illustration using pan pastels and paint in our May class. If you would like to learn how to use this medium then Kaz will teach you step by step how to create your own piece of art......You will create a similar illustration to the picture however different colour palettes are available let us know what your colour is when you book in.... Cost of both days is $70.00 plus a kit  $25.00 Mays kit includes pan pastel and applicator, pattern paper, fine liner, journal and pastel paper.....great value!!! To celebrate the month of February that features the romance of Valentines, we have a heart themed challenge pack in the shop for you to complete. We would also like to share this beautiful layout with you that was created by Vicki using the fairy tale Storybook collection from AdornIt.   If you would like to recreate this page here is what she did. First she sprayed her background page (Chapter Two) with a mixture of teal Lindy Stamp Gang Sprays, next  she used a stencil, added texture paste and when that was dry she went around the edge of the stencil with  a versa-mark pen and sprinkled with silver embossing powder. There are  no problems heat setting the powder over the texture paste. The wooden banners from the wood collection pack were coloured and attached to the page with glue and the string was then placed to suit .   Vicki has used her border punches and dies to create some of the embellishments on the page and the little tear on the lef...

Happy New Year everyone and welcome to Create On Ormond's first blog.....We have settled into our new premises well and it has been great to see so many of our customers in the new location. Remember we are opposite Apco service station and are on the corner of McKillop and Ormond Road. Parking is best on Brown Street....  To update you on the phone situation we still don't have a phone line the latest ETA is February 18th.....fingers crossed. You can still call our number 52221449 and it will get to us but it does mean we are without internet which means we are a little slow on emails...sorry.....  We have stocked up on all the essentials for the summer so any type of adhesive your after come check us out......I know this time of year is a great time to catch up on your scrapbook pages so make sure you get those photos developed, sorted and start putting them in your albums....we have plenty of snap albums and supplies for the smaller quicker albums and we have plenty ...

Just a reminder that our Thursday card class tomorrow night is our last card class for the year.....Kris has produced some wonderful cards this year and her final class is a little compilation of many different themes and styles. The cards are based on the stamp set from MFT called Card Greetings 2 and there are greetings for all occasions on it.....because this time of the year there are many students out there that are graduating your card set will include this fun creative graduation card...plus you will make more cards with different themes.....
