Happy New Year everyone and welcome to Create On Ormond's first blog.....We have settled into our new premises well and it has been great to see so many of our customers in the new location. Remember we are opposite Apco service station and are on the corner of McKillop and Ormond Road. Parking is best on Brown Street.... To update you on the phone situation we still don't have a phone line the latest ETA is February 18th.....fingers crossed. You can still call our number 52221449 and it will get to us but it does mean we are without internet which means we are a little slow on emails...sorry.....
We have stocked up on all the essentials for the summer so any type of adhesive your after come check us out......I know this time of year is a great time to catch up on your scrapbook pages so make sure you get those photos developed, sorted and start putting them in your albums....we have plenty of snap albums and supplies for the smaller quicker albums and we have plenty of pocket page refills to help you complete the bigger albums.....
I know many of you made your xmas cards last year and therefore you have depleted (some) of your supplies.....so we have decided to also clear out our Christmas supplies during the week of January 12th to 16th.....So call in and mention this blog and you will receive 20% off all things Christmas....yes that does included dies, embossing folders and stamps!

Introducing Vicki Robe a talented card designer and specialist in all things SPELLBINDERS. Some of you may remember Vicki from Chandon Craft, and we welcome Vicki to the shop and know you will enjoy talking to Vicki and doing her classes she has a lot of experiences to share with you all.....
We also welcome Kaz McGlynn a celebrated Barwon Heads Artist and Art Educator well known for her Quirky art images.
KAZ’s style of teaching is about nurturing and helping her students build their self-esteem through art as well as learning many art methods and techniques incorporating the art principals and elements of design and using them in everyday living and problem solving. (Time To Flourish) Graphic 45, Flip Calendar Album......
Simply delish describes anything that is made with Graphic 45 papers, and in this class you will make a perpetual calendar that has tags to decorate so you can see what month, day and date it is at anytime. There is plenty of room to add photos on the individual tags at a later stage if you choose. Vicki has designed and created this class for you to use this calendar at home and you will love working with these beautiful papers....Limited spaces so book early.

Do you love Art Journaling? Do you love mixed media canvases? Do you love or at least want to love all the fabulous mediums, sprays and stencils that are available? Yes! Then this class is for you..... a 6 month course in the wonderful world of mixed media. Bookings are limited and as this is a popular class you will need to book early.....The class is in 2 parts, first part on a Friday evening when you will start your project...then you will finish it off in part 2 the next day....yes finish it the next day.......the classes run monthly on the 3rd Friday/Saturday for 6 months, February to July.

Technique Tuesdays
Kaz McGlyyn
This class is designed to help you understand what all the assortment of products are these days.....Why do we have so many choices in gesso and does price matter? Which spray do I use for what project? Texture paste or moulding paste, gelatos or pan pastels.....these are some of the topics Kaz will cover. The format will be a 2 hour class of technique education and experimentation and you will leave with a mini project that will stand alone or put together with each technique class project for real impact.
