What are Gel Plates??
Gel printing plates are reusable printing surfaces, they look feel and act like a gelatin plate, but are made of a unique plastic. They allow you to print complex-looking layers with ease.

Sylvia Convey is an internationally recognised multi media artist and teacher.
Sylvia will be introducing you to exciting gelli plate printing techniques on paper and other surfaces
Description:
A weekly class designed to guide you through the many different ways to use your Gel plates as a fantastic background building tool.
Sylvia will offer printing tips and tricks from the basics, to layering, image transfers & more. The classes allow you to create a starting point to add other art work on top of it, such as faces, thoughts and journaling or as a card front for your cards.
You can fill your art journals and/or use single pages for even more flexibility.
Starting date:
Friday Feb 7th - weekly;
Time: 1.00 to 3.00 pm
Note an evening class is offered on Thursday 20th Feb 6.oo to 8.00. If this time is popular we will continue with a fortnightly class.
Cost per class : $25
Students need to bring with them each week:
Art Journal size 8 x 8 inch or A4
gel plates, whatever size have
brayer small and/or large
water mister
heat tool
acrylic paints
gel plate squeegee
