Hello everyone, this Saturday is our second Art Journal 101 class and it reminded me that I haven't shared this amazing piece of art with you. I  asked Liz ( our Art Journaling teacher) to produce a sample using one of the  Donna Downey face stamps.  So Liz thought what better way to showcase her than as a mixed media portrait! SNAP MINI ALBUM CLASS This is a fun class for you to join. A whole mini album done in 1 afternoon...wow.... Join Debbie as she guides you thru the tips n tricks of SNAP albums. She will help you decorate the front cover of your mini SNAP album using the inserts from your kits....you will then continue to put your mini album together, decorating each page with embellishments, washi tape, stamps and more....these mini albums are perfect for a themed photo album....a holiday that youvé had, Christmas Celebrations, Parties, A monthly photo book....bring along your photos if you have them printed and put them in as you go... there are only 2 spots left in this class so please contact the shop on 52221449 to book your seat! NEW CARD CLASSES ON SATURDAYS We are pleased to announce a new series of card classes that are based on  colouring  your stamps. The classes will cover  stamping techniques  and how to apply water colours, pencils and copic markers ....to your images and backgrounds.  Each colouring technique will have at least 3 different classes and you can do 1 or all 3 it's up to you. These classes will suit the beginner as well as the experienced.....so if you like to dabble in water colours, pencils and or copic markers these classes are for you! New Art Journaling Class Starting Saturday May 31st What is Art Journaling? Art journaling is about the creative process of pulling together colour, words and images onto a page. Unlike other forms of art, this is not about the outcome, it’s about the process.  An art journal is only for you - there is nothing to stop you from sharing, but an art journal is your safe place for experimentation and for play.’ What do you learn? In this 6 class series students will learn the basics of art journaling.  The students will experiment with different supplies (teacher provided) to help them find their preferred mediums. The course is intended to enable the creative souls of participants to emerge on the page. Liz Aitken Liz is a part time mixed media artist, doodler and art teacher who loves making a mess.
