Scrapbooking Classes

Leonie is continuing to teach scrapbook layouts on a Tuesday evening and a Thursday morning. Each class focuses on  special technique and Leonie has her own method of applying the medium to the page which she shares with you so you too can create works of art just like the "Master" herself..all welcome especially if you are new to scrapbooking....please contact the shop for booking details. Card Classes

Kris is continuing to produce such beautiful cards. This Thursday you can learn the art of Tea Bag Folding, it is an interesting name and according to Wikipedia  , Origami (meaning literally "ori" folding "kami" paper) the Japanese art of paper folding dates back to antiquity. the name Teabag folding was coined after Mrs van der Plas first set about folding the greetings cards. The wrappers were essentially square and of equal size, the two main prerequisites for producing symmetrical and pleasing imagery...so there you go. Anyway Kris will teach you how to make two cards using this technique and you will use the A 4 papers from Artee Supplies to get this vivid colours.... Leonies Scrapbook Classes

LEONIES SCRAPBOOK CLASSES Trust In Your Potential This is a fun class designed around the use of Dylusions Ink Sprays. Dylusions Sprays are a fabulously bright, rich spray that can be used in lots of different ways. Primarily you'll look at bleaching tecnique using these fun sprays.There is also some stenciling with texture paste involved in this class. The remaining classes Leonie is teaching. See them in the shop. WHEN:    Tues 9th July;  6.30 to 8.30 BYO: 1 photo, scissors, trimmer, ink sprays (if you have them) and resist craft mat if you have one.

Final Art Journal Class

We finished our 7 week series of Art Journal Classes a few weeks back and I would like to thank all the customers who supported the classes and especially those that traveled from Melbourne, that is commitment!..and of course Cassie for her wonderful inspirations and knowledge.... These classes were  designed to help you learn about all the different art mediums and how they can be used in so many different ways on water colour paper, and it was  great to see the exchange of so many  ideas between the group. I would like to share some of the finished art for you all to see and enjoy.... we hope to have another series of art journal classes focussing on fabrics and texture in the near future so I will keep you posted....
